The Worthington Inn came to Digabyte Music and Design
seeking a replacement for a website that had become outdated,
both in content and appearance.
Digabyte designed a new sight from the ground up, restructuring
navigation and creating all new artwork and layout. Special
attention was given to highlighting the historical aspect
of the Inn as well as catering to the internet skills of an
extremely wide client base (from young people frequenting
the pub, to business clients staying at the Inn, to senior
citizens enjoying Sunday brunch). The client also wanted to
emphasize their organization's attention to modern amenities
and technology while adhering to the comfort and tradition
of the Inn. Ease of updating menus, prices, special packages,
etc... and an interface to allow users to book room reservations
online were also important.
Digabyte created a simple, modern, streamlined, site that
echos the traditional motif of the inn while highlighting
various aspects of the establishment.
The site features on-line menus for breakfast, lunch, brunch,
dinner, pubfare, dessert, wine, beer, beverages, and room
service as well as providing copious information on the history
of the Inn as well as information on the surrounding area.
